I don't own a scale!

Recommended Posts

I'm very pleased with my progress so far. I was sleeved 10/7/2013 and I'm now 2 months out went from a size 22 to 16! I last weighed on my visit to the doctor 11/20/13. I have a scale at home but it doesn't work. I want to know what my current weight is but I'll have too wait. The reason I hadn't brought one is cause I don't want abuse it.

Probably smart not to own a scale..I have one and I know the last time I lost weight I was a slave to the scale..every pound lost or gained became a huge thing..wait till your check ups with your doctors..let your clothes be a guide.

i don't own one and i'm so happy that i don't. every time i go to the doctor i'm worried i'm not going to lose as much as i did the month before, but i'm always happy when i lose more! i'm glad i don't have one at home because i would be obsessive, plus i trust the doctors scale more than a home one. one time i weighed myself the week after a drs appt at my friends and it said i GAINED two pounds. i went to the dr the next day and i had actually lost 5 that week. better consistency using the same scale!

At first flowing my surgery I weighed myself daily. Then I gradually started weighing in once a week or so. I like watching the numbers go down. It makes me feel proud to be getting smaller. I have worked hard to see it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
