Well we are 4 days from 17 weeks! We are doing GREAT!!! doctors seem to be happy with everything in 5 days I will be 20 weeks post op and a total of 72 lb gone! ... This has not been easy. I throw up almost every day because on top of pregnancy nausea I am still learning the pouch. I have continued to lose but have managed to slow down. This month I lost 6 lb and there is no way to stop that from happening this is why we are told to wait... I am full of info on this so if you gals have any questions feel free to ask... I am an open book ;-)

So how many weeks post op where you then when you found out?

So I had surgery August 2nd and went to Georgia for a family thing on the 7th of September... I remember that whole trip I was SUPER tired and thought that was strange because I had just taken a B 12 shot. So around the 11th of Sept I tested and it was positive SUPER fast... so I was about 6 weeks post op and only 3 weeks pregnant...

Wait as long as you possibly can... This is HARD!!! This is our third child and both of my pregnancies before we're practically identical... I am having a really hard time now because it is super hard to eat and find things that I can tolerate.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
