I'm back at the hotel and I must say I feel 20 times better. I don't know if it's all the room and privacy I have or what. But I'm feeling awesome. I guess the removal of the drain has a lot to do with it.

Hi my surgery is schedule for tomorrow Jan 9th, looking forward to the new me!

How are you feeling?

Hi everyone! First, congrats to all who had their surgery and hope you have an easy recovery.

I was sleeved first thing this morning and feeling pretty good. The whole thing done in an hour. Dr said it was easy lapband removal. Surgery started about 7:30am and I was home by 11:00am. Was feeling queasy and a little uncomfortable from the gas. Took a 2 hour nap when I got home. Now walking and sipping my reduced sodium chicken broth with a scoop of Unjury chicken. Doing great, no nausea, pain scale maybe a 1.

Cheers!

Hi.. were you sleeved or did you have lap band removal? I ask because your already home on same day within a few hours and you didn't mention a leak test, so I assume you had your lap band removed??? Just asking since you post isn't very clear..anyways hope you have a speedy recovery

On the other side now! Just a bit uncomfortable now. So I go on full liquids for 2 weeks tomorrow... Haven't lost any weight yet.. Nor do I want to even look at food.

Surgery is scheduled for Jan 28th. I start my clear liquid diet on the 18th. Super excited/nervous/anxious. Its encouraging to read the other posts of everyone who's getting sleeved or already done it. :-) keep up with the updates. :-)

Today I got my date of January 21st. My surgeon requires the 2 week liver shrinking diet so I snuck in just on time! I'm so excited!

Friday I start my liquid diet

Monday is my date

I've been sick these past few days so I haven't really ate anything but a bowl of soup and crackers and drinking fluids then i ate a chicken salad today idk if that's good or not but tomorrow I will def start guzzling down my protein shakes. 0_o

You don't have to guzzle down on anything! Slow down! Fluids like plain water, chicken & vegetable soup are more than sufficient! I just got done on 7th n home today - sipping on only water all day for now.
