Any February 2014 Sleevers?

I'm scheduled for 2/6/14. Who else is getting sleeved in February?

Hmm ok, interesting, I think I left my nose in surgery :)

Do you sleep as much as you once did?

Alright kids. To the fun part we go! I am being driven to the ER. Woke up with excruciating pain in my left side (lung) and warm pain in my calf. Because I was so out of it the first 24 hours after surgery I barely got up to pee. So we are ruling out a blood clot this fine Sunday morning. I will update you when I have something else to add. Wish me luck! Lol.

Omg! Good luck! Keep us posted!

I hope everything is okay with you !!!

Omg.....please be ok! Keep us posted....sounds like maybe a blood clot...

Okay. Back home. They did all kinds of blood tests and an ultrasound. They said my clotting risk is high but that it could be just from surgery. They said to be safe I need to follow up with my primary care doc tomorrow and have another round of blood work and ultrasound done at the end of the week. So for now, I'm okay. Just super tired and ready to pass out!

Glad your okay

So glad to see you are okay. I don't post much but I do follow the Feb. Sleevers and wish you all good health, trouble free recovery and fantastic weight loss.

WOw, soooo glad yore back home and ok!!! hopefully the primary care doc can figure it out. Get some rest:)

Day 2 of pre op, pains not bad unless I caught. Just trying to get enough fluids and protein in, prilosec is working for stomach acids, then the gas x strips. Just trying to rest, drink and walk

That pain from coughing can be nasty. That may be what caused my pain in my ribs. I originally thought it was trapped gas. I only worried about a possible clot after the calf pain started. I am not having a terrible recovery, however this is the toughest time I have bad recovering from an operation. This is the third time many of my incisions were used for a laparoscopic procedure and I had so much trouble waking up from anesthesia that its just been harder than I'm used to.

Ok, I just got on and I almost freaked out reading what was going on. Seriously. Thank goodness you are all right. I was scared for you. You better take it easy and get all your fluids and I won't come kick your butt.

Just keep swimming, Dory!
