I agree, the first thing I picked up yesterday after my 2 week post op appt and being put on purees for 1 week, was Wendy's chili, got to work and ran it in the blender. Still have 2 more meals left in the small size that I got, feel full after a few bits yummmmmmmmmm

Wooohoooo down another 10 lbs on my 2 week post op liquid diet, get to go on purees for 1 week then to soft foods!!! Thats a total of 50 lbs gone since I started. ( I had a 15lb regain before 2 week preop).

Congrats .Am at Dr office for 2 week post op, to get stitches out, my scale show me at 196, will see what theirs say. Got called in for vitals 20 min past my appt time, now waiting 30 min in small exam room getting pretty pissed off

I have an older tanita scale and It's more accurate then my nut's scale.

you will do great, they are really good at St Lukes, I had minimum pain, just walk as soon as you can and as much as you can. Not any gas pain in my chest and they must check for leaks during surgery because they didn't do it before discharge.

I'm loving the stained low fat soups, I'm on full liquids for another 2 weeks so I can have cream have cream of wheat with ff milk, stained soups, yogurts with no fruits or chunks, so tonight I got some sugar free sherbert yummmmmmm I get 2 protein shakes a day too

ahhh the ricotta and marinara sound wonderful can't wait to get to puree stage (2 more weeks) to try it
