I am scheduled for February 20th! Mixed emotions super excited, nervous, scared! All recommendations & advice appreciated:)

So I got Sleeved yesterday and I have to say I think the worst part thus far for me was right after surgery it felt like I had a brick in my chest from all the air they pump into you. I've been up and walking since shortly after surgery and I'm feeling really good I mean the abdomen is sore, but the pain meds are managing that well. Idk lol I feel happy and relieved and ready to get out of here lol

That put such a huge smile on my face. Too damn funny!!!

My sister did that citric stuff and was having diarrhea up til they wheeled her in for surgery so do it early. And if you **** on the table you won't even know it!!!! Lol

You know I gotta give u a little hell this mornin

Hahahahaha. I can't imagine I have much to sh!t out. Lol. But I can't start until 5, cause I have class til 4.30. Hopefully it'll be enough time. Cause let's be serious. I won't be sleeping that night. I didn't sleep at all the night before my knee surgery. I spent the night cleaning and moving my bedroom furniture around. Hahaha

What an encouraging post!!! Way to go!!!

HEY GUYS, when u read this will you please go give "VANCEHEATHER" some encouragement??? She posted under "PRE-OP DIET" and is crying. She really needs to be lifted up and that's what we are here for, right??? To support one another. She just had her surgery and is trying really hard.

What thread? I can't find anything.

Should be at the top of this pre op diet forum. Either she or myself is the last poster

Clear liquids start today !! Two more days till surgery Eeek!!!

Are you Monday or Tuesday? Glitter is Monday and so is Shersun. I'm Tuesday and so is Leigh Anne.

Good luck

Don't forget me. I'm Tuesday too! I'm sooooo excited. I'm flying out this morning!

Yay!!! It'll taste like heaven, what little you'll get down. Lol

I ate all the broth! And half a cup of tea!

I am only 5 days after you! You can do it!

Haha. Glad to know I have friends! I knew People would wonder where I was. But I was just so dang out of it! That anesthesia is no joke. I basically slept 22 hours straight. This morning I thought "I will never get out of bed again!" And tonight I'm wandering around my house no problem. My sweet husband just said it's good to see me up on my own. I'm sure his arms are just about dead from me needing his help every time I stood. I'm so glad to be out of surgery and back home. I'm planning on a walk with hubs and baby tomorrow. We are having gorgeous weather and I know the activity is good for healing.

I slept all day and night yesterday at the hospital too! Concentrating on getting my liquids in.

Yes!!!! Three of us! Superfab, LeighAnne, and aussiekye!!! Yippee!!!!!

That's excellent CC!! You and Jen are really kickin it. Does the warmer liquids seem to go down easier than cold or does it matter?

Shoot guys, it's under "tell your gastric sleeve story". The one called "pre op diet". Give her some encouragement please.
