That's awesome. No problems here. Sleeved Feb 3rd. It hit 29 lbs this morning and 75 lbs total with pre op diet. I'm taking in around 70 ozs of Water, 700 cals and 80 grams of Protein per day. It's going to be an awesome summer for us. Here is a picture of my progress. The two pics are maybe 8 woks apart and around 40 lbs.

Those pictures are amazing! That's Some great progress! :)

Hey everyone... I am having a problem, my stomach has be upset since yesterday. It won't stop moving and talking to me. Has anyone else had an upset stomach. I don't want to eat to drink anything except for Water. Every time I get or drink anything my stomach gets more upset.

Are you taking a ppi like Prilosec, Zantac or Protonix? Sounds like u need to be and if one doesn't work try a different one. I have to take protonix twice a day.

I was also thinking it could be an acid issue. Since I started taking my Prilosec regularly my stomach has felt much better.

I'm drinking 3 Protein Shakes a day (yes at a month out) Muscle Tech has 20 grams per scoop. Add 2% milk and I'm close. I've been experimenting with what foods I can tolerate and I'm there. The fluids is a challenge some days. I really need to focus on drinking. I am now one of those water bottle carrying people.

Would u guys consider the Protein Shakes liquid??

My doc does. Anything liquid counts as overall liquids for the day, and Protein if there's some in the liquid.

Do you mean as Water? My doc and NUT do not.

So I try to sip my lean shake from GNC throughout the day in between meals. Is that normal? Even though it's a "meal replacement" as my mom said? She thinks I should drink it as a meal and not throughout the day. I think i can because it's Protein and a liquid.

Has mom had surgery? Lol. In my first few weeks post op I was lucky to get one shake in during the day. Sip sip sip and get as much in as you can. And don't forget Water too!

And yes. If you're eating you can still drink shake in between. At least that's what I have understood. I do not meet my protein goals without shakes yet. Not sure how I totally missed/didn't read that last sentence.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
