Any Low Bmi Getting Banded In November?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I am getting banded on November 26th. This was a very big decision for me and I am so excited that my surgery date is just around the corner. I have been yo-yo dieting for years and as I get older it has just been harder and headset to keep the weight off. It has been so great hearing everyone's experiences and I saw some other low BMI bandsters from back in July and August. Would love to hear back from anyone as to how you are doing after these past few months and if there is any newbies out there about to go through this with me. :). Best wishes everyone!

I wasn't a low BMI bandster when I started. But I am now. ;). And it's my opinion the band is doing exactly what I expected it to do once I got to goal.... Keep the weight off. Granted I need to be smart with when And how often i splurge but so far it's working fine. I would think I it will work for you too, good luck,

Congratulations FLORIDAYS on being a low BMI bandster!! When did you get banded? Have you reached your goal weight now and just trying to maintain? I know everyone is different but just curious on how many times you had to fill/unfill to be comfortable. And once a goal weight is reached how to maintain. Thanks for the feedback. It's so encouraging hearing your success. Though I know it's not an easy road but you prove it can be done. :). Congrats again! What an accomplishment.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
