Nop. My doctor recommended taking 2 Multivitamin gummy/day. But you most chew it very well before swallowing.

Yep - my doc said no Gummy anything. I think his concern is the carbs. He wants his patients on 400-600 calories, 60-80 g of Protein and 15 or fewer grams of carbs until we hit 75% of our excess weight loss. So 3-5 grams of carbs a day from gummies doesn't play well into that.

I have taken them ever since surgery over a year ago. I could probably take regular ones now but I find that they are a nice treat in the middle of my day haha

I don't take gummy vitamins but I do take a Gummy B complex that my NUT and doc suggested. I also take a sugar free gummy Fiber supliment. I haven't have any issues with either.

You may want to compare your funnies to your Flintstones. You will notice some things are missing from the gummy vitamins. You will find some major differences. Most notably, the gummies do not have B1, B2, Iron and Calcium. So you may have to take extras. Especially the iron. You should already be taking extra calcium so that should be fine. But the iron is important on such a limited diet.

I can't take Iron, and already take B12 and Calcium so I'm good :)

Yeah, my NP actually suggested for me to take a small extra Iron supplement on top of what I get from the chewables. She said for women who are still menstrating, extra May be needed. I just worry about taking too much cause that can cause Constipation. I don't need that! Hah So for now I am taking it every other day. I will just see what happens at my three month blood work to decide whether I should keep taking it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
