Have been absolutely plugged up since surgery. Today was the 2nd BM i've had in over a week. Hoping it gets better.

I cheer whenever I poo now - it's a life event these days. I get stupidly excited because it's so infrequent now!!!

Milk of Magnesia is my BFF. I had to call on Jesus, Mary, and Joseph for relief the 1st time and it was about a 3 hour endeavor after 2 MOM doses over 24 hours time. I cried a little :(

OMG... Been where you ARE.. get you some MOM. Milk of magnesium. TAKE a capful. I KNOW what $hitting a BRICK feels like as I waited TOO long after surgery. I had to give myself enemas, and it still did not work. MOM, milk of magnesium will be your FRIEND~~~ take a cap-full early morning-afternoon......if it does not work the first time, ADD MORE to the cap on top of bottle. Take a double shot if needed, Just STAY CLOSE to the bathroom as it will remove the PLUG, but will make u RUN...................SMOOTH MOVE.................after MOM......... it makes u say AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :D

Dude, i think i almost burst a vessel going the 1st time, literally brought tears to my eyes. I don't have kids so couldn't judge if this was worse than childbirth lol

Just had my band out and I pushed for an hour when I finally had to go. My legs and feet got numb from sitting. Talk about interrupting progress to stand and shake out the numbness in my lower extremities

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
