I hate my chewable bariatric Vitamins also. I crush them and add them to a spoonful of applesauce. Much easier for me to eat this way. Good luck.

I have taken the gummy vitamins since my surgery and I always take them with something on my stomach. My other pills I used to crush after I had my surgery for a while until my dr said it was ok to swallow. Hope you can get it down one way or the other!

You can get Calcium and Vitamin D in chocolate, that tastes similar to a chocolate! Multi Vitamin in Orange flavor. Try to get the other pills in smaller sizes...If you have to take 2 it is better then trying to swallow a large pill!

Wait a few days or a week and try again. I tried too soon and aggravated things and then had to go to nothing but Water until things calmed down again!

7 days post op, supposed to start taking Vitamins today. Tool one and puked my guys up! Any advice?

I haven't had my surgery yet but I can tell you I have a hard time taking Vitamins, I always feel nauseated and often throw them up. I've tried eating first, I've tried crushing them up, etc. well I started taking the chewable vitamins and I feel fine, don't feel like I'm gonna get sick at all.

What kind of vitamins are you taking?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
