I recently got approved and surgery is scheduled on November 4th in Chicago! I'd love to talk to and meet others who are getting or have been recently banded. I'm 23 and living in the Chicagoland area. I'd really love to talk to all of you and track our progress together!

My doc submitted my paper work for banding this past week. I am hopeful I get approved. He doesn't think it should be an issue but I am weary. I am hoping for the best! If so I am scheduled to be banded the day before Turkey Day! I say no time like the present! Congrats to all with their approvals and dates. Looking forward to joining you!!

As it stands right now, I have my EGD on Oct. 18th. I will start my pre-op liquid diet on the 25th and then my surgery is scheduled for Nov. 15th, as long as there are no issues with the insurance approval. The surgeon's office doesn't think there will be any issues with getting it approved and says my insurance is pretty easy to work with so I'm hoping they're right about that.

I get Nov 6th. I go for preop on Tuesday for confirmation....wish I could get it done tomorrow. I am very happy to be getting this awesome tool!

I just got my surgery date this past Friday.....NOVEMBER 21st. Woohoo Im in Morris, Illinois.....bout an hour southwest of Chicago.

My surgery date is set for Nov 22. It really isn't soon enough!!! I live only about 3 hours from your area!!

Hey all - I actually got my surgery date today and it is 11/11 - so I am super excited and scared! Anyone who wants to be support buddies - message me or let me know. I know I am going to need some mental support lol and would be willing to help with some support/advice/tips as well.
