Unless you ate 42,000 calories in two days (it takes 3500 calories to gain/burn a lb), it is either Water weight or something wrong with your scale. Were you getting ready to start your period? If you weren't and there is nothing wrong with your scale, you may want to speak to your doctor to figure out why your Fluid is fluctuating so much. Think about this logically and stop beating yourself up. Unless you are consuming more calories than typical, it is probably just a fluctuation ... that's normal. But it is not normal to gain 12 lbs in two days, unless it is PMS or some other reason for retaining Water.< /p>

Is your scale broken? Do u need new batteries? That's a heck of a lot of weight to gain.

Agreed. This is either Water gain or your scale may need new batteries. Those fluctuations are too big, especially if you didn't make a huge food change!

are you weighing at the same place each time? I weigh every single morning in my bathroom. Naked. After I pee. Right before my shower. So: same time, place and situation. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
