I noticed the weight loss in my face first. I considered this a blessing.

I wanted to mention to Princess Sarah. You have to get some nutriotion and plenty of fluids. I hope you get some answers becase three days of nausea is hard on you. Hang in there and call the DR back if this persists.

It seems a couple of us have been at a stall. I quit weighing myself cause it ticks me off! Now I blew my knee out so my daily walks are not going to happen for a while so I'm sure that's not going to help! Ugh! Always something!

My surgery date was 08/07/2013 - I have seen a lot of posts on here about not liking Protein Shakes or not being able to tolerate them. There are two protiens that I like and have been able to tolerate. This first is from GNC and it is called Amplify smoothie in chocolate. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk and it is really good. The other one is from Unjury and it is the chicken Soup flavor. Not my favorite but good for some variety. Hope that helps someone...

We are close my surgery was aug6th.

I've also had set backs n stalls. N I no sometimes I don't get enough protein' date=' but I gag at any of the Protein stuff.

My dr. called me himself last week the nutritionist showed him my food log :( he was mad cause I was eating cantaloupe n watermelon. Her said I was eating to much. N he's very disappointed in me. All I could say is ill do better. But he wants 4lbs gone a week n the most I could do is 3lbs but not all the time. Ive lost 39lb I thought was good. Oh well i'm doing the best I can now. :) i'm glad for you. :)[/quote']

And I'm glad for you. Hang in the there!

That its great!! How much have you lost?

I ask finally feeling like my old self' date=' with all the other aches n pains popping up. Ugh. Ooh well.. I am also wearing clothes back in my closet. I'm not feeling the sexy yet. Lol.

I've lost 39lb. I haven't lost any wt. Since last Friday but I am doing Water arobics 3-4x a week. I'm glad for the wt. I've lost but my dr. is not gonna be pleased. He wants 4lb a week gone. And that's not happening. I'm eating 550, to 650 calories a day, does anyone else eat this much?? I hope i'm not over eating.[/quote']

Last I checked I was down 43 lbs. I try not to weigh to often and use my clothes as a guide. All my pants that I wore before surgery are very big but I try to still wear them with cute tops. I however have found old slacks and jeans that I am currently enjoying plus a couple of new items. Most days I don't eat enough but I'm a work in progress. I've been following your post and you are dong great! My Mom had the same surgery you had 21 years ago and she's my inspiration!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
