This is a new group I created with the idea of a friend. We can share our accomplishments, pictures, stories anything about of surgeries. Everyone is welcome. Come join us, and share your story and your accomplishments.

PS if you click on the link it will take you to the page, however if you type it you must type all of it with no spaces. I had to display it like this so the whole link would show:

https: / / www. facebook. com / groups / rnyyoudidit /

You can also post your email and I will send you and invite.

Would you consider making this a secret group instead of closed group instead? Only a handful of people know about my surgery and I would like to stay as private as possible with it with the exception of other wls patients.

OMG it's OUR month! I've created a thread over in the Post-op forum for us. Subscribe or write a note in it (OMG October 2013 Post-ops)' date=' so you'll get the updates as we join the losers' bench.

I am in the same boat. Very few people know about my surgery except you guys here and my very close family.

Hi everyone I'm new to the forums. Currently on day two of the pre-op diet my surgery is scheduled for Oct 23rd nervous and excited! My wedding anniversary is Halloween so this is a big month for me >_<

Question I keep getting asked. . . ."Why are you doing bypass and not the sleeve?" I'd love to hear everyone else's answers. . .
I am getting the bypass not the sleeve as I have really bad acid reflux. There is evidence to suggest that the sleeve causes/worsens acid reflux. So to me, it's a no brainier. No acid reflux--> rny. Haha

Dr tanner. :-). He is pretty awesome. I don't have a date yet. Insurance just approved me yesterday so now I have to wait for Veronica to call me. She's absolutely horrible. I can't stand her.

Where do you live? I am October 14th too...and in Sweden ! Although i am British

Hi Burlesque, I'm in Sydney Australia but my date was shifted forward to 26 Sept. I'm recovering and glad it is over looking forward to the new me. All the best with your surgery - I imagine you have just started the liquids?

I know they have had several complaints on her. I would call her everyday if you don't get anywhere asked to speak to Erin she is the director of the Bariatric center.

I called her everyday for a week to tell her they had the wrong fax number for my insurance and she never returned one call. My husband got fed up and one day he called her every 10 minutes until she answered. She left me a voicemail earlier today but now won't call me back since I returned her call. When is your surgery?
