  1. I went to my 6 day post op appt today and was down 11 pounds. The first 3 days were tough but today has been the best. It's no picnic, but I know it's the best decision. So glad to have met you all and have that extra support!!!
  2. My surgery went well. My incisions don't hurt as much as the freaking gas from the surgery. That's been my enemy. I had surgery on Tuesday the 3rd at 930am and by 7 or 8 pm I was walking around. I felt nauseous from the anesthesia, but overall was okay. I went home Thursday, the day after surgery. Was lucky to have some of the best people taking care of me. Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
  3. Hi everyone! Surgery was scheduled for 10 am but actually got taken back at 930am. Everything went well and right now just weak and tired. Pain level is about a 4 but my medicine trigger/buzzer had been my best friend....lol. I am officially on the losers bench.
  4. I am in the same boat. Very few people know about my surgery except you guys here and my very close family.
  5. Good luck to all the October surgeries especially those scheduled for tomorrow. I am scheduled for surgery in less than 12 hours. Really getting anxious now. Going to try and get some sleep.
  6. I am in Jonesboro, Ga....not too far from Peachtree City.
  7. Good luck to you! Hope to hear from you soon!
  8. I am with Molly and will be joining the Loser's bench tomorrow October 2nd. Surgery is scheduled for 10am. Good luck to everyone!!!!
  9. Less than 48 hours until surgery and I am starting to get more nervous but also excited. Clear liquid diet starts today.....no solids at all. I was worried about these 2 days but with all the excitement in my head, I think I will be okay. Still can't wrap my brain around the fact that very soon, I will be much smaller. Haven't seen a smaller me in years. *fighting tears*. Best of luck to everyone!!! You guys have helped me tremendously. Landav5
  10. Surgery in one week......October 2nd!!! Had pre op appt today and am starting to get nervous/excited.
  11. I am just a little stressed about my out of pocket cost/amount because the hospital I will be at requires half up front and the rest can be billed in installments. My out of pocket amount after deductible is 5%. Praying that it is not high (although 5% is amazing as it is). I am so glad I found this website/forum because it has put me more at ease and everyone here so far has been so nice and welcoming. Betsy
  12. loveanjie333..... it is consuming all my thoughts as well. I am super excited. I am in the single digit count down now......9 more days!!!!
  13. All in all it took me 3 months and 4 days from the initial seminar to surgery date. My 10 day pre op diet starts tomorrow
  14. I am in Atlanta and am having my surgery on October 2nd at Dekalb Medical Center. Dr. Rashid is my surgeon.
