Best wishes to you as well. I can barely stomach milk, period. So, I have to stick to the chocolate flavored. :) My surgeon didn't give me a specific amount to lose.

The Cookies n cream and the chocolate Peanut Butter are really good too...I'm not big on milk myself, so I put 8 oz of milk in the freezer and let it get just a little icy...then add a scoop of the Protein powder...the almost slushy consistency makes it almost milkshake like and the taste is good...plus at 30 grams of protein a scoop you really can't go wrong...I'm getting strawberry next!!

I have bought the strawberry. It's actually pretty yummy! 8 oz of skim milk, little ice and 1 scoop of the mix. Whirl it in my personal drink blender and done! I like the idea above about getting the milk slightly frozen! Gonna try that!

I use the vanilla and then add 1/4 teaspoon of different flavors of sugar free Jello powder. This way I get a variety of different flavors so I do not get burned out on one flavor. I normally mix them with milk and ice and blend them in my single blender. Cherry is my favorite.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
