I am fighting the urge to start eating all the things I will never have again.....Krispy Kreme donuts come to mind!!! So afraid of living without sugar, but know that is best!

I say do it, you'll make yourself sick and remember why you're doing it!

Be strong! You will fall in love with other foods healthier foods. Sugar was the hardest for me to shake but I know I can't have it or I will b sick so I don't eat it. Do I think about it, sure do I have cravings, sure but it's a no-no.

Same here. Sugar was my number one food. I used to bake brownies every week and I swear I could have lived off of birthday cake. Now the only sweet things I have are Protein shakes yogurt and the occasional sugar free Popsicle. I miss baking but I've got to let it go because its the reason I was 270lbs.

Its going to be tough for me also cause I like to have the occasional sweet treat I love rice krispies treats and chocolate chip Cookies but in a few days I will have to give up those foods for else face the consequence of being sick! I am so scared!

I am going through the same thing with meat. I seriously can't go a day without craving BBQ ribs, chicken wings, pork chops, etc. I haven't had any since late April and I miss it SO much. But if I'm going to be successful, then sacrifices have to be made.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
