I ate strawberries at week four when o was cleared for solid foods! And I had half of a steak salad for dinner yesterday! Yum:) I had a garden salad for lunch so it appears that my pouch can tolerate salads which is refreshing- My fitness pal

Hi I'm 10 days post op surgery date was 7/29 and everything going fine. I have to admit this soft food phase is driving me crazy. I want some deli meat and low fat cream cheese so bad lol ! I am counting down the days until 8/26 that's when I should be able to eat solid food again.- What ya eating tonight?
For dinner pureed Wendy's chill. Damn post op diet! Lol- Pureed food ideas
Yum I gotta try that!- Food funeral
Its going to be tough for me also cause I like to have the occasional sweet treat I love rice krispies treats and chocolate chip cookies but in a few days I will have to give up those foods for else face the consequence of being sick! I am so scared!- no appetite
- no appetite
I have a question. In the beginning not much food can be eaten because of swelling. I was told that after the pouch heals one will feel like they can eat more and may start to feel hunger pangs. How soon does that start to happen?- Gaining...help
Hi there i haven't had the surgery yet i been told by others who had RNY that when you start seeing the weight gain to get back to basics. High protein low carb and water should help keep hunger away long enough to keep the snacking at bay - July 2013 - Post Op Thread
