Vitamin B12. It's a liquid you drop under your tongue for natural energy. It's a life saver.

that and make sure you are getting in your Multivitimins, Protein and liquids. Good luck!

Being tired is usually an indication of lack of Protein. The previous poster said B12, but my doc warned that it does not always give everyone a sense of energy. While you new to make sure you are taking your b12 don't stop taking it if you don't feel an energy boost.

Protein is essential for energy it is the fuel for our body. Make sure you are getting in all your protein as a starting point.

Also remember you just went through major surgery and sometimes it takes our body a little while to recover.

After I workout I have this amazing burst of energy for hours, I know those are the endorfins, I just wish they could put endorfins in a pill form - LOL :)

I went thru several months of being tired, and seems like a lot of people say they did too. I think its part of our bodies way of adjusting to all the changes we have put it thru with the surgery and stuff.. Keep up with all Vitamins and stuff and stay on top of lab-work. Hopefully it will pass soon.

I was 7 weeks yesterday and this is the first week since surgery that I feel like I actually have energy. Make sure to stay hydrated and take your Iron and eat your Protein, as much as you can. And rest all you can if you are feeling tired. Remember, slow and steady wins the race.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
