Mine is going to be straws! I drink everything with a straw. So good bye to my camel backs.

Wine! I know that makes me sound like a total lush, but it's been really tough, especially with warmer weather coming. My husband is a wine maker so it's kind of a big part of our life, and I know I'll be able to have it again, but for me it's been harder than any food I've given up.

I also really hate not being able to drink Water after I eat. That's been a strange transition, too.

BTW- I'm 11 weeks and I've used straws occasionally. But not until I was like a month out

I have such a nice wine collection. :( But I'm hauling it back to my friends back home. At least someone will drink it up.

I never gave up my straws!! I have never had a problem with gas, so I told them it just wasn't a concession I needed to make. They said as long as I'm getting all my Water, and I'm not having trouble with air, I was good to keep my straws!!

I have sensitive teeth so that's why i use straws in mostly all drinks. I've given up dt Pepsi before so i can do that easily again. I told my husband just be prepared to see different things in the refreshment fridge, also he drinks coke products and i can't stand them so soda is going to be no problem for me.

Popcorn and soda

I love popcorn but it does not reciprocate. My daughter is having me put a list of no no's on the fridge so she can keep a eagle eye on me.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
