How long till i can dye my hair ?

I am almost 4 wks post op. Can anyone tell me how long should I wait. I hate this hair color and I need to do highlights all over ASAP pls help! Ty

I just did mine at 10 weeks post op. Do it now before it starts falling out! I didn't think there was a waiting period.

I was never told that I couldn't. I did mine at about 6-8 weeks. I had colored mine right before surgery.

You can certainly dye it at any time, however it may not take quite as well as it normally would because of the hormonal changes in the body.

I dyed mine right before surgery it didn't cover as well as it usually did so I think it just depends on your body

I am 14 weeks post op and have dyed my hair twice. No problems here. But I only wash my hair and blow dry it 2x a week because of the hair loss. My stylest recommend getting ot professionall washed 2x a month at least bercause the vigorous washing stimulated the scalp and new hair growth. Dr said absolutley correct. So I treat myself! I am lucky that my hair is not oily.
