Janel' date=' don't know what we a going to do with you! Lol. You are making us on a liquid diet so jealous! I have liquids for 4 weeks!! We should have all come down and had surgery with you,!![/quote']

Mayo is the only way to go. There were other medical issues he took care of at the same time. But you've seen those commercials Mayo fixed it for me. I AM going to find a way to do their next commercial.

Yay!!! Breaking out of jail (aka hospital) today! Blood is staying level and oxygen is staying good! That's all I needed! Can't wait to go home! 5:30 mins and counting!!

How is everyone getting in their water? This is day 6 post op and I don't think I'm doing very well. I fill to full to drink water plus my protein shakes.

I just sip water pretty much all day. I have a big refillable bottle and I know by the end of the day I need to drink 2 of them. I'm 6 days out also, but my doctor hasn't started any protein shakes yet....I'm sure that is going to make it more difficult. Make sure you are using shakes with the most protein you can get.

That's great! I'm so glad you're doing better and busting out of there. Keep us posted on how you're doing at home.

It's such a relief to hear everyone is doing good. My surgery is in 3 days ... Registering with the Hospital and doing blood work today.

Wondering how to join the group? Don't worry! You joined when you came on this thread and offered your support!! Everyone is welcome. If you'd like to be added to the list or if i've made a mistake, just drop me a line or lieave it in a post here and i'll update it! i'm certainly not opposed to anyone else copying and pasting or editing when i'm getting slack.. in fact it'll be appreciated especially during my surgery and recovery time! Love you guys to the moon and back!

Hey everyone! I'm about 14 hours since my surgery. Pain is bearable. I think i fought nausea more than anything. Lots of Zofran and Phenegren. I'm so happy to be done! I have a Blake drain and a g tube. Left incision under my breast hurts the most. Doing my deep breathing and coughing and anti blood clot exercises. Thanks for you prayers and you better believe Ill return the favor. Hugs to everyone!! Blessings to the who go in today.

I think it depends on the surgeons. I didn't have one. The only thing I had when I came out was just a "Q ball" pain ball. All that is are tiny catheters that are hooked up on the outside to a ball with liquid pain meds in it.

Surgery was yesterday everything went great I had a little post op nausea but it went away after about 20 mins. I was up walking around after couple of hours honestly the pain is not bad at all I would say that my c sections and gallbladder removal was way worse I have hardly any Pain at all. Endoscopy is in about an hour desperately wanting some water! Would have to say craving water us worst part but they're giving me mouth swabs. Ive had no hunger at all. Will keep everyone updated!

Sounds like its going well. Hope everything else goes great! I couldn't get rid of that 'thirst' feeling until I got home and could drink as much as I wanted.

Ok, I'm now11 days post op. everything is fine EXCEPT I wake up with terrible nausea that lasts for hours. Sometimes protein helps, but it doesn't go away until afternoon. Not sure why, but feels like pregnancy all over again! I've already lived that 4 times, don't need to do that again! Is anyone else still battling nausea? Seems like the best cure is sleep, but I'm back at work and - ain't nobody got time for that! Lol. Anybody got any ideas? My surgeon just ki da nodded his sexy head and said its normal, but doesn't sound too normal since I can't find anyone experiencing the same thing! Help!
