I'm noticing more young women getting surgery. I'm wondering if anyone else had it in 50 or 60s and how you did?

Thank you both. Yes I’m home and healing. This is a much longer and slower process than I imagined. They being said I really like this app, I look at different things through out the day to help me understand what I’m going through and to expect.

Yes I’m excited I go pre reg. Dec18 and surgery is jan 7th

I'm 57, had the vgs in June 2017, I'm revising to the bypass soon because of hiatel hernia and acid reflux. I literally have the acid back up into my windpipe and close off my ability to breath. I have to keep a rescue albuteral inhaler just to get breathing again. It's very scary.

I'm 53. Had the Rny surgery on 11/8.
Down 25 during 2 week pre-op diet. Down 20 since surgery for a total of 45 so far. Not bad for 3 weeks.
