I am 8 weeks out and can not find anything to help my funk! It is horrible!! Has anyone else had this problem. I have been avoiding my husband for a month without showering first and finally came clean lastnight. He says he does not notice it. Well I do!!!

It is all the stores of fat leaving your body as you lose the weigh, sorta like a detox. . Also the anesthesia working its way out. I couldn't stand my own self for a couple of weeks. But it is better now. I think my bathroom duties must be bad, cause the other day i heard a hand reach around and turn on the exhaust fan. Thank goodness my nose was stopped up, but I guess I offended the rest of the house.

Funny, I was actually going to post something similar. I'm also 8 weeks out. This morning at the gym, I was getting ready to shower and I said to myself, "PHEW! Who's eating Doritos?!" It was me! Granted, I was at the gym but even still I've noticed that I've had this BO that I didn't have before and I've never smelled that bad after a workout. I blame it on all the Protein and hormones being released as we burn fat. I just keep showering morning and evening and now use CLINICAL strength deodorant at night and my regular d.o. in the morning. Crazy!

It seems to be pretty common. I've read a few comments about this. The things they don't tell you...Thank God for this forum.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
