Passing out?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone passed out after exercising? I walked for 50 minutes, went about three miles. Came home, cooled down and ate lunch. Then I took a shower where I got so dizzy I sat down once and fell once. I have a giant welt from hitting the faucet. I made it out of the shower and stumbled to lay down in bed where I passed out for an hour. Is this totally weird? I posted this in the Nov 2012 postop thread too.

kinda scary, hope somebody has some insight. Call your doc tomorrow just to let them know. First thing I bet they ask you is if you are getting enough fluids. Could you be dehydrated?

Was the shower cold? Maybe you cooled down to fast? Do you have a history of low blood sugar?

Jessica. can't wait to start this journey.

Hot shower. I do have low blood sugar, which is why I ate about a half hour after walking...23 grams of Protein. It was so weird. I got dizzy one other time standing up too fast tonight but other than that feel fine.

I had had an 8 oz Protein shake an hour before the walk and drank a bottle of Water during bi tend to be on the dehydrated side (I hate to sip all day) so I wonder if it was the combination of low blood sugar and dehydration.

also one other thought, do/did you have high blood pressure and are you on BP meds? could be low blood pressure. Please call doc if it continues.

You should def check your blood sugar and blood pressure after excercising because I get light headed too if it drops too low!

Husband is the kind of athlete who does 100 mile bike rides after giving blood - has never passed out - see a Dr - sounds like something else is going on

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
