Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Sounds like a swollen ouch which led to a panic attack and low blood sugar from not eating. Something similar happened to me at 3weeks out.

I thought gallbladder at first but then you said you had yours removed. I also had my gallbladder removed 10 wks. after my RNY... and I still get really bad pains across my chest kind of under my boobs. I am going for a CT scan next week. My doctors said that there could still be stones left in the ducts, during surgery they try to clean all the ducts out but if there is a tiny, tiny stone it could still grow. I would consult with your doctor ASAP, something does not sound right.

Hi thanks for replying x I have been on the the hospital this afternoon and they told me to go in tomorrow as soon as I can hoping they might stick a camera down my throat to see what's going on, I thought today apart from the chest pain which was debilitating, it's very like the pain I experienced when they filled my old band up way too much had forgotten about it till my mum came over, I take a sip and after about 10-15 seconds this noise travels back up my throat and into my mouth and the pain :-( I thought I'd had all the crap life could throw at me with the crap band if I have to change my name to bariatric op number 5 I'm going to be sooo pissed :-(((( x

It's crazy that you're having the numb limbs too. Sooo scary. I'm waiting on lab results now, hoping its just low B12 and not something really bad.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
