what are you using to mix it with. you need to used a blender ball cup or mixer of some sort so it doesn't clump. very few of the Protein powders will mix with just stiring with a spoon

you can heat your milk (not to over 130) but I still think it mixes better with the blender ball cup or blender mixer thingy.

I also stir it in yogurt and it mixes pretty well but a little clumpy.

The chocolate splendor was good. I used Water only to mix with it. I also tried the strawberry sorbet. I used Water only and don't care to use milk. Milk is call for in the instructions. Didn't care for it in water due to bland taste. I would imagine in milk it would have been much better.

Does the chicken broth really taste like chicken borth or is it "kind of" like it - I really need details on taste! Can you taste 'a hint' of Protein powder even? Is it clear like broth or is it 'milky'?

details details PULEASE lol

I've used Unjury since March 2010, for me the chicken was okay, threw the cheese away, use chocolate Classic and the rest of the flavors. Very seldom do I use milk but I do mix strawberry and the unflavored with with fat free yogurt and a little Water, blend and add ice and blend again. Makes a good smoothie. Also use various flavors of Crystal light and use Strawberry and the unflavored for a cold drink. Another good one is sugar free hot chocolate and mix either vanilla or chocolate. And if you are allowed to drink coffee and don't mind it at about 130 degrees or a little less mix in chocolate and have a chocolate mocha or the vanilla is similar to cream, except sweet. Also, sugar free pudding is a good mix. As far as mixing even the unflavored with any other food, I'm a chicken, because if I didn't like it therefore wouldn't eat that food for years. Also think of mixing with Crystal Light, you definitely are getting your water along with Protein, thus killing two birds with one stone. Unjury also has some good recipes. For something different I've tried the Adkins bars, and they are good, but I try and select the ones that are higher in protein.

I ordered the sample pack right before surgery and it arrived when I came home from the hospital. I like the chicken Soup broth and it helps me get my Protein in. In the sample pack was the strawberry Sorbet which I mixed with lemonade crystal light. It was sooo good, tasted just like a strawberry lemonade! Yum!

unjury has been my friend since 2010. I've tried all of them, the cheese went into the trash, didn't think of sending it back to get a refund it was more like I won't order that again. If using Unjury in something cold make a slurry first with it or until you get a smooth paste then start adding your liquid and continue stirring, shouldn't clump. The chicken broth for me is way to strong with 8 oz of liquid so I went to 16 oz and like it that way better. I use unflavored in smoothies when using sf syrups otherwise with flavored they are way too sweet. My morning wake me up is 10 oz of Decaf with either a scoop of vanilla or chocolate and I prefer the classic. Think that is because when I first started using it Unjury chocolate splendor hadn't come out. Tried it once and it was too sweet for me. Also I mix strawberry sorbet in with lemonaide crystal light, also have strawberry watermelon. Vanilla I use to make a PB2 or PB2 chocolate banana smoothie. When fruit is in season I buy on sale and then freeze bags of it, including banana's. I slice them and place one sliced banana in a sandwich bag, roll it up and then place them in a freezer bags. Thus I know I'm only eating either a half or a whole banana depending on how much I use. Also it is easy to break in half. Also frozen fruit is great to add to milk about 1/2,cup I use original almond 15 calories for 1/2 cup, scoop of Protein and then the frozen fruit. Blend until smooth and it is almost like a soft serve ice cream. I think the reason I like Unjury is for its smooth texture. Anyone that likes Almond Joy candy bars, you can use your milk or even coconut milk, coconut exact or sf coconut Syrup, chocolate Protein, and about 1 tablespoon of cocoa (if you like dark chocolate), add ice cubes, blend until smooth and you have an almond joy smoothie. smoothies are my Desserts plus I'm getting my liquids in. Unjury website also has recipes on it. I also drink Cocotein which has 20 gm of protein and is 16 oz. of Fluid. It is sweet but I pour it over ice which helps cut the sweetness somewhat. Can't you tell I love coconut? But think this is how I got into this shape, I love almost everything ^_^, especially the bad stuff.

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.
