Oh my.. Getting that drain pulled was just the weirdest feeling.. Tolerable but weird!!!

Do you mean ng tube? Nasogastric tube it goes into the nose down throat into stomach. A g tube is inserted directly into the stomach through a surgical incision in the abdomen. I hope you didn't need a g tube.

I had a drain. It didn't hurt when they removed it. Just felt weird watching something get pulled from your abdomen.

Just had my drain pulled Thursday I gotta say mine was a werid pain lasts few days and I've had no pain or pills after my open RNY

That is so awesome. Pain meds make you majorly dizzy and as soon as you are off them you feel.sooooo much better!
