  5. go swimming!!!! if you want this surgery, do what you have to to get it!!! you can do it!! where are you?
  6. i'm 2 full weeks out of surgery and i have still got a huge lump above the left side incision. any body else? is this normal?
  7. i was about a week out when i had hot sauce. it really is strange though how my tastes have changed. hot sauce isn't so hot ans sweet is wayyyyy to sweet now.
  8. refried fat free beans with hot sauce and plain greek yogart is sooooo yummy!
  9. i make popsicles with the shakes sooo much easier to take that way. also i use the protien shots 26gms of protien in 2oz.
  10. i would say you are doing great! my date is 8-24-12 i started @ 261 day of surgery went down to 248 and went up to 252 as of today! starting to get upset!!! can't get enough water in. i do get plenty of protien though

  12. I am 3 weeks post op today. All I do honestly is sit on my butt answering phone calls (I work for US Airways in reservations). I don't know if it is the amping up the workouts or actually being at work but I am exhausted. New shift is 5pm to 1:30 am. Pray for me that I can survive this. Like This wow your working out already? are you superwoman? op 8-24-12 and still in too much pain to reach the floor. lol had a fight with the vacuum cleaner and a big spider.( think they ganged up on me!) they sure did kick my butt! lol

  14. ok i've been having pain in my left back side and front left side. i slowed down and payed attention to when this was happening, and it is when i eat. so does anyone have any advice for me?
  15. if you don't like the protien shakes freeze them into popsicles! it does seem to change the taste for the better!
  16. i started driving a few days ago. just don't take pain meds when u drive!
  17. i had surgery on the 24th and i still have pain on the left side.sounds normal to me good luck!! hope everything turnes out fine for you!!!
  18. i'm not worried about the food i can only eat 1/2 cup at the most. i feel lucky to not be getting sick!
  19. i had surgery 8/24 and it seems i can eat and drink anything! water gives me the burps but goes down. i have even had chicken breast with no problem(just chewed really well. the only problem i have is pain. is this normal?
  20. yes, i have one and it does help can't stand up strait without it!
