Ugh, Not Again

Recommended Posts

Dumped yet again... That's everyday now for the past five days... I'm eating slow, following all the rules about avoiding certain foods, spacing out my Fluid intake properly... This just sucks!... What makes it worse yet is having my friends and family seeing/hearing me go through the process and the expressions of angst and sorrow on their faces breaks my heart.

Vomiting every day and for no apparent reason may not be dumping. Dumping is most often associated with sugar but it can also be the result of carbs or fats. If you don't think any of those are present in high enough levels in your diet, probably be a good idea to run it by your doctor.

have you checked to see if you have a stricture? A few members on here report similar issues like you have and it ended up being a stricture which has to be diagnosed by your doctor and it can be fixed with a procedure done normally a couple times, but not unbearable and certainly better than being sick every day.

Something does not sound right... I have thrown up but it was because what I ate was just not sitting right but that has only happened a few times. If you are following your doctor's orders then something is wrong... please make a appt. to see him... it does sound like stricture.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
