:) Ty All! Your Dreams Can Come True

Well I had surgery 7/24. With a preop weight of 305. Today I am 245 lbs. down from a 48 waist to a 40, a 4x shirt to An XL and best of all . . .

I just accepted a position as a flight medic.

Might not seem like a big deal but helicopters have weight limits for flight medics and I now am under the weight. This has been my dream since i started in ems 8 years ago. I start October 8th and I couldn't have done it without RNY and all Of you.

Thank you all for your support and for everything. Keep on losing people! Shoot for your dreams and remember you can do it, you have the tools!

Congratulations! That's awesome.

Congratulations!! I work in health care, too, and although I haven't had my surgery yet, I have been losing weight on my pre-op diet, and know that once I am down to goal, working will be so much easier and will give so much more joy because I will be able to get around better. Good luck on your new position!
