Glad I'm not the only one with the scale problem. I only lost one pound last week and I'm not eatin anything at all. I am barley getting in my fluids. I wanted to cry in fact I did cry. was pissed @ my Dr. for making a big deal out of the 1 lbs loss. Now I am even more PISSED now that I now I'm not the only one it's happening to. Can't wait to see him next week. Imma chew him up n spit him out. I won't stay mad tho. He is a good Dr and I love his staff. They comforted my better than my boyfriend when I found out I found out I only lost a pound.

Hugs to you I know it is frustrating when you are doing everything right.

Hello all-

It has taken me awhile to post something since I have been busy with school and family. I will be one month post -op come Tuesday of next week and all is well. No nausea. No pain. No complications. All the food I am able to eat stays in my belly and I stay hydrated. I'm already down 20 pounds total this week. So including the weight watchers and surgery I've lost 74 lbs.

Does anyone know if the Facebook page was ever created?

So I started mushy stage with scrambled egg with cheese. Since I took 25 min to eat the eggs congealed a bit and were very cold by the time I was on my last bite. Not so appetizing!

Egg salad the next day much better. Spilled my Protein Drink so i ate a smal amount of cooked hamburger with blue cheese dressing chewed and chewed and chewed tolerated it well. Today egg salad for Breakfast then I crock potted skinless chicken breasts with broth onion and carrots then magic bulletted it. Plus I made a cauliflower casserole that was beyond yummy. All went down well I eat slow chew well( even though it's purreed) just for the practice. Also I follow the 30/30 rule which I must admit I thought would be way harder.

My doctor said not to treat wounds because it softens them and prevents healing. Only soap and Water. Take care

I'm three and a half weeks out and feel like I should be doing much better by now. Still not getting enough liquid or Protein. If I eat I can only take in a couple teaspoons. If I drink a lot, even small sips, it makes be nauseous. I'm not in any pain anymore but I feel bad all the time. I have no energy and my head hurts a lot. Any ideas???

I can tell you the headaches are because you are dehydrated. Can you try to suck on crushed ice at least. And maybe warm broth.< /p>

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
