  1. I meant that lives in the south bay area sorry. I should have been more specific
  2. Is anyone in the south bay or harbor area getting or have had bypass? I really want a buddy to work out with and be supportive.
  3. I can relate. Im so glad i decided to get the surgery and am excited for my life afterwards. Its depressing when you feel bad about who you are and know the only one to bpake is yourself. Keep your head up girlie. With hard work and dedication you can feel better. I know i do.
  4. Thank you. My dr has given me a run down of what my diet will be. But i thought if hearing from people that have been through it would help me understand it more and see if they found any good liquid protein alternatives to the whey powder. Of course it is a given that each individual reacts differenly, but i just wanted to be informed from every possible view point. I guess its the perfectionist in me:)
  5. Thanks for thr positivity. My decision is made im doing it next month. Still a little frightening going under tho
  6. I uavent had the surgery yet but im curious as to how the post op diet is gong to work. What are good protein supplements that arent too expensive? Is there a wrong form of liquid protein to ingest? Help!!
  7. Ive done my research, Ive spoken to my drs and as of now the pros out weigh the cons but i cant help but feel some reservations about the surgery... is it odd that im nervous or is it norma
