Things You Don't Have To Worry About When Your Not Fat

A friend of mine who is getting surgery around the same time is me, was cracking me up the other day when we started to think of all the fat person issues that will go away when we have our surgery. Here was our list, please add your own.

No more seat belt extensions on planes

Ability to sit in booths without having to move the table

All the buttons/snaps on our pants are broken

Sweating all the time

Ability to shop wherever we want

No more elastic

No more expensive fat people stores like Lane Bryant.

Ability to bend over and shave my.legs without passing out

Roller coaster rides!

Being able to run after my daughter and keep up to her and not have to hear the kids in her class make fun of her because she had a fat mom

Kids are so cruel

LOL. HOW ABOUT BEING ABLE TO WRAP MYSELF IN A REGULAR TOWEL NOT A POOL OR BEACH TOWEL

That's right I have a really long towel

Lol what if you have twins next

- Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

I assure you, that fear has lingered for years now! LOL Especially at my "advanced maternal age" twins become more probable. Guess then we will have to go to 6 LOL. *my husband just said "ummm, yeah, about that...." Guess if twins happens, I'm SOL on the even number thing!

Just thought of another thing I wont have to worry about!!!

We have an amusement park with a water world attached to it, in the city I live. Well, I haven't enjoyed anything other than the "Lazy river" since high school, due to my size. I am terrified of getting stuck in the tubes! The last time, and this is why it was my last time, I had to scoot myself down the whole tube and then jump off the end because I was to big to let the water push me down. The water couldnt push my fat behind down the slide. I never want to experience that shame again.

After my surgery, this is the first thing I'm gonna do! LOL well, maybe not the first!

A strange one... But you know the little stall showers you get to create a half bath (smaller then a portapotty)... Being able to take a shower in one of those without bumping walls or getting clostorphobic. I have one of those in our laundry room for the 2 older boys, our tub had a crack in it when we first moved here 6 yrs ago so we used the downstairs shower... I had sooooo much trouble. Well last week I noticed water pouring into the downstairs from upstairs tub again... So we are using the little shower... Which is Much Bigger now!

Being able to wear shorts without them creeping up between my thighs

Wearing a bathing suit

Looking in the mirror

Fitting in the stupid paper gown at the doctors office

I was just things about the short thing just yesterday, thinking I can't wait until I can wear shorts and not capri's.

Not taking up a whole couch cusion

As I got out of the shower... I thought I want to be able to use a regular bath towel instead of a beach towel to cover my whole body up!

I can't wait to be able to fit comfortably in the desks at my grad school and actually concentrate on learning and not the discomfort and sense of shame.

I want to be able to sit ANYWHERE on any chair without having to worry about it creaking ir possibly breaking!

I can't wait to buy bras that are pretty and suitable for a woman my age! I want to know what it's like to shop in Victoria Secret and regular sized stores.

I want to NOT have to struggle to put my socks on.

I want to feel energized and not in pain.

I want to exercise without feeling pain.

Ahhh there's a lot!

Oh! Oh! I want to wear my car seatbelt comfortably and not have to struggle getting into and out of the car! Also, I want to be able to go out to eat and sit in a booth and not have to worry if I'll be able to fit or not.

I feel ya on this one. I love the bras from LB, but when I walk past the VS in our mall, it just makes me sick. I want to wear those beautiful bras and panties and not have a thong look like the string holding a Christmas ham.

Looking forward to drying off after a shower and have it not feel like an olympic event!
