Great decision man. I'm 3 weeks post-op, I was sleeved Sept 9th. I was 5'8" with 288 lbs. As of last week, I was at 253lbs, having lost 35lbs. right now I have no Idea where I am. I'm trying not to get obsessed with weighing myself all the the time.

Tell me what you'd like to know, hopefully I can help out.

Thankfully I did not have any pain, nausea, or anything at all to speak off. Per my doctors orders I stayed home for a week, did not drive for 15, and still can't lift weights yet. Now, Around a week after the surgery I was able to return to my regular activites. You have to remember that everyone you meet or ask will tell you something a little different because their bodies heal differently. I have followed my doctor's and Nutritionist's recommendations to the letter, I would recommend you to do it as well, it helps a lot (at least in my case).

I was 388 before surgery had the sleeve on oct 31 of last year and now I'm 257. So you'll loose a lot just take your time.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
