I can't believe how quickly my life has changed! Getting the sleeve was the best thing I have ever done for myself but I had to do my share too! I run 20 miles a week, do yoga twice a week and train with a trainer twice a week. I've also had to completely re-train my brain when it comes to food. This time I'm never going back! Wow congratulations those results are unreal! I started full liquid diet on January 12, had my sleeve on the 22nd. 287 lbs day I started liquids, 271lbs on surgery day. Today, I hit my first goal which was to get under 200lbs by Labor Day. I am 197 lbs yeah me! I can't wait to hit 100lbs, I can feel the joy you have today and I hope you have many more days like this as you hit all you goals/milestones! Keep it going!

TARPHR - I usually eat around 800 calories a day. I follow the rules and eat high Protein (about 3 ounces at a time always measured!) avoiding sugar and carbs. I try do drink alcohol only once a week. Also, I track everything I eat on My Fitness Pal. I'm TinaATL on there and my diary is public if you want to exactly what type of foods I eat. I still have a piece of dark chocolate almost every day but it's just one 42 calorie Dove dark promise instead of a king size Snickers like in the "old days".

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
