Hello everyone I'm new to the forum... I had my sleeve almost 8 weeks ago and have lost 42 pounds. Only real problem is that about 3 weeks ago I started getting to where I want to throw up for no reason like I have morning sickness. I'm not pregnant. I also can't tolerate certain things now certain smells such a body odors( I am a healthcare worker) urine, feces or even looking at certain things upsets me really bad to the point that I'm heaving. Any one else having a weak sensitive stomach? I was fine the first 4 weeks....

I know exactly how you feel! This last week has been annoying, my stomach went from 'going good' to 'Everything upsets me.' It's driving me up the wall. Don't even get me started on outside stimuli. LOL

I have a weak stomach now too, but mine has been that way since surgery.

The part of my stomach removed 6-10-13 during VSG was positive for a bacteria called H.Pilori. My surgeon started me on Very Powerful antibiotics for 2 weeks & I'm nauseated most of the time. Just awful!! Anyone else undergone or undergoing this treatment?

Weight-wise I am down 52lbs (200 from 252).

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
