I think i will make myself pretty today!

6 days post op and I have yet to put on make up or fix my hair, I just take my bath, wash my face and let my hair dry naturally!! (Very scary)

I have a call into the surgeons office, about a problem with my arm where my IV was at (in the bend of my arm) and the vein has swollen and I can't straighten my arm completely out! So I'm hoping they will take a look at it today!!

Kim :)

Btw I'm glad I did get semi ready, make up done but wearing a hat! Bc I ended up at PCP office then off to radiology and then sent to the ER!!

What did they do to help you with the blood clot? I hope your arm is feeling better! A little scary!!

So sorry to hear about your trouble. Maybe in the next day or so you can go to the salon and get your hair done. I am a hairstylist and at our salon we take walk ins as well as our regulars. I have had many ladies who were not my reg. clients come in for a shampoo and style after surgery. Sometimes there reg stylist can't fit them in, and they always leave saying how awesome it was to get a good shampoo/scalp massage. Having there hair styled professionally makes them feel so much better. Anyway, just a suggestion that might make you feel better.:)

That sounds heavenly :)

Kim, I'm 8 days post op and have been doing the same thing :) Hope everything gets resolved with your clot!
