Premier is my go to also. I pour it over ice to thin it out a little. Only have tried the choc. Just slowly work on it with small sips and it will eventually be gone lol. Still takes me over an hr to drink one. I am 4 months out. Early on I ate yogurt or peanut butter on a spoon to get in some protein too.

I have no idea how you guys are getting so much Protein in ??? I struggle to get in 60g per day at 5 weeks. I am also constantly pushing the fluids. Share your secrets!

Put Protein Powder in everything you drink and eat.

I get 60-65 all from food- I'm almost 9 months out and it took me until 4-5 months out to be able to get it all from food

I'm approaching 9 mons post op and getting 60-70 gm of protein daily. Most come from food, but I still do 1 protein shake daily after i exercise that contains 20 gm of protein. At this point, even if I wanted to, don't think I could eat any more than I do now. Levels are ok, as doc said min should be 60 gm daily with most coming from food.

I'm 1 week post op and getting between 70 and 80g per day. Also getting at least 64 oz of water.

Wow! That's fantastic!!

I'm a little over 2 weeks post & I'm about 70-80grams of protein and not at 64oz of fluids yet but almost 50 oz of fluids

What can you possibly eat that you have time to both prepare and consume that has the required 60-80 G protein a day?

I'm still on shakes and purée foods so far haven't had a day yet that I don't reach it ... I log it on my fitness pal

Today I had coffee at 6:30, 1.5 eggs "dry fried" around, lunch I had 1/2 a link of Italian sausage that I bought at the farmers market Saturday and a string cheese, dinner- I made sour cream chicken enchiladas- I replace a little more than 1/2 the sour cream with Greek yogurt (my hubby hates the thought of Greek yogurt- and he has no idea, so it doesn't change the taste)- I don't eat the tortilla on mine- so I get 2ish oz of shredded chicken and cheese. And sauce :). I made guac and had a little dollop of that on the side. For snacks I had 2oz of beef jerky and a babybel cheese. According to MFP- 850 calories and 59g of protein so far. I may have another snack later...

How many grams of protein are you guys getting in per day?

I get between 60 and 90, normally around 75'ish.

Sorry for the copy/paste. I don't prepare dishes as it's just me. Kids are out of the house so not feeding a family. I do 6 mini meals a day. Some stand bys for me are hot choc /decaf (15g) . 2 light mozzarella string cheese (12g). Chobani Lemon Greek Yogurt (15g). Boars Head Ever-roast deli Chicken 2 oz (13g). Al Fresco chicken sausage (14g). Morningstar Spicy Black Bean Burger (11g).1 pouch tuna/1/2 c 1% cottage cheese (31g). Gortons Simply Bake Tilapia (20g). Unjury protein powder 1 scoop/8 oz skim milk (29g) and sometimes I add 2 T of PB2 which brings it to 34g. Each one of these standbys is 1 mini meal for me. I don't have room for anything after eating it. Don't eat them all on the same day but keep my cals under 900 for the day. I shoot for 90g a day. Sorry for the run on paragraph. My enter key is not working ONLY on this website. Have contacted Alex/Tech but no solution yet.

I eat 60-70 a day but today I ate 80 :)

I just found out yesterday that I've been getting to many grams of protein for me to only 5 weeks out. (97plus). And over 700 cals. To much protein means to many calories. Talked to my NUT yesterday and he told me to be careful. I've been using a scale and should use the 1/4 oz measuring cup for volume not scale for weight. I was scared that I wasn't getting enough protein when I ate to I drank the protein drinks in between meals. THIS IS A NO NO! So yesterday I joined fat secret.com so my proteins and cals can be added for me once I entered what I ate. I've loss 29 lbs in 5 weeks, it's possible I could have loss more.

That's good you found out now so you can make the adjustment immediately. There is something to say about post op follow-up. Great job.
