9 weeks post op cant eat with our pain, anyone else?

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to find out if this is a normal feeling or maybe I should call my surgeon on Monday. I'm 9 weeks post op and have been feeling pretty good. Ive been eating new foods and following the plan. My wight loss has been good and I'm happy I had this surgery. The only thing is I started to have some pain right under the pouch area and off to the right just a little. I thought it was something I had ate, ( gas from some veggies) but the pain has not gone away ( since Friday morning) and ever time I eat or drink I feel sick. Like I'm going to vomit. I'm not talking about a large amount, just 1 bite or 1 drink. This afternoon I tried to push some fluids since I'm worried about not getting in my 48 and I did vomit. Any advise from anyone who has felt like this? Thanks

I'm sorry you are going through this. Yes, please call your doctor. Sorry I can't offer any other advice.

Do you have your gallbladder? It sounds like the symptoms I had when I had gallbladder attacks.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
