Hello wishin n prayin I too am the 24th.... we both will do just fine. It is the beginning of the new us. Nice to see I now have triplets because there is someone else that is the same day as us.

Best of luck to all of today's sleevers and a speedy recovery.

I was sleeved on Sept 16. The surgery was a success. My tough time was coming off the anesthesia. All in all I am feeling great. I am up walking. I am drinking my chicken broth And eating jello. God is sooo good.

I had surgery on the 16th too. Doing really well. The pains not too bad and walking does help. I haven't had anything to eat but ice chips and can't until after my leak test tomorrow but I am hoping I tolerate food/broth ok. Hope everyone is doing well and healing.

Congratulations to all today sleevers

I had my surgery around 9:30 yesterday morning. I didnt have a lot of gas pain, but my stomach is even more sore now than it was yesterday. I feel like someone has punched me in the stomach a few times. Its not unbearably painful, just really uncomfortable.

I took the heating pad and placed it over my left shoulder letting it lay on the middle of my chest. It has helped me so much with the pain. I also have a clicker that I can press when I feel pain!! Today is day 2 I'm so thirsty! Feels like ive been stranded on a desert. I couldn't use the mouth swabs because it always made me vomit. I hurled with my stomach and I had pain. This surgery really isn't that bad. My csections were worse. Its just the need to burp is what's kicking my butt

I don't feel the punched feeling. Its wild how we all feel different. I wonder what's a better feeling punched vs gas? Maybe neither lol

The different feelings are wild! I'm so much more sore today though.eck! Ive got a clicker for pain too, but mostly it just makes me go to sleep lol.

I asked for a heating pad, but they said they had to have orders for me to use it. :(

Glad to see you all are doing well. The pain will pass just keep moving. Good luck and congrats!

Had my surgery last night! Was scheduled for 2pm but it took till 5:30, the patient before me had major issues and was in surgery before me all day. Not weight loss surgery though, thankfully! But I'm glad they turned out ok.

I woke up in a lot of pain and very thirsty. Pain has subsided though. Doc says surgery went very well! I'm so glad it's all over with! Hope everyone who's had surgery is doing well and those who are coming up that their wait goes quickly! I don't post much but I love reading your stories!

Courtney it is ok to be nervous I am too and mine is the 24th but I just keep thinking about the big picture wait I won't have any more big pictures because I will be smaller. We will do fine...

I am on the 23rd also - I have been waiting so long, I am not too worried - just anxious for it to be over !
