Im September 16th....I havent been in hospital for 22 years to the date and that was for the birth of my twin boys who were born 09/16/91.

This surgery will also be a life changing experience for me!!

Please get plenty of rest and let us know when you are feeling better. You just had major surgery, so be careful as to not over do it. Good luck and a speedy recovery.

My surgery yesterday went very well. My body still having issues with the anesthesia. Dry heaving and lots of belly pain

Surgery yesterday went well. I've been up and walking. Waiting to be fetched for the swallow/leak test. Pain has been minimal nausea comes and goes but they are quick with the meds. Was moved from ICU to my room this morning. Gotta get some more walking in so I can pass gas. Hope everyone is doing well today.

Awesome, sounds like you're doing great. Keep up the walking but, don't over do it. Make sure to rest as well. It's great to hear everyone's experience and honored that you shared yours. Mine is on the 25th and I'm so ready to go!!!
