  2. I would not bother telling anyone. Only told a select few.
  3. For some some reason it won't let me update my progress
  4. I have gotten down to 154 but, since the holidays are here, I'm up to 157- 160. So I'd say I'm in the 1-5 range. Not too bad but, enough to notice it...
  5. That's what my NUT told me as well. Besides, I cannot drink when I eat because it actually hurts my stomach.

  15. I had the hiccups when I was in the hospital so bad, but luckily for me they disappeared rather quickly... The nurses didn't seem to be to concerned as this is something that some patients go through... It is hard to get in 64 oz of liquids this soon out of surgery but do concentrate on those clear liquids so you don't wind up in the hospital 2 days after surgery due to dehydration like I did, it was awful!!! Walk, walk, walk as much as possible and sip, sip, sip as well. This is so very important this soon after operation!!! Cannot stress it enough!!! Good luck and be patient with yourself...

  18. Hello GameGirl, I am glad to see that you and I are feeling the same way... My advise to you for all of this is quite simple... Just don't worry about it... Keep on keeping on and learn to love your new self as you change whether it's slower than you want... Keep getting in your Protein first and keep hydrated... It is a new lifestyle for us and we have to just go with it... Like with any new toy, the fascination wears off... Focus on yourself and why you have decided to change your lifestyle... And think if you never had the sleeve done, you would be miserable because of the excess weight you're carrying around... Let's be happy we get to live another day thinner and healthier than we were in the past... I am everything you described I just choose not to let it bother me and be grateful for my health...

  20. Like you, I had been researching the difference between the sleeve and the band. I have had the sleeve for 3 months now and it is a God's send!!! I cannot stuff myself like I used to before and if I do, I am very uncomfortable!!! I have stuffed myself a few more times since then but, I am getting better at understanding when I'm thirsty or hungry. Your stomach doesn't growl like it used to (at least mine doesn't) because that hormone Ghrelin is no longer there to tell you your hungry. It's a learning process but, one that gets better as time passes by...

  24. your just in a stall, it's typical. Try varying up exercise and take in more proteins
  25. Surgery September 25th and down 32 lbs from start of pre-op till now.
  26. Good Luck to all October sleevers and a speedy recovery.
  27. I think I'm going to wait till Tuesday at my 2 week check up to see what doctor recommends me to do besides walking. This is major surgery and you don't want to push yourself. I have days where I'm still tired and days when I feel energized. Just don't need to over do it when feeling energized this early in the game.
