Am I not suppose to eat fruit?

Recommended Posts

I'm a month out and have been at a stall for maybe about 1 in a half weeks. So far I had lost 40lbs but recently gained back 2lbs. I've had some cantaloupe in the past couple days and are we not suppose to eat fruit yet?? Also , to get out my stall in assuming exercise is key right? I wasn't worried about my stall until I gained the 2 lbs.

Everyone's program is different. Mine allowed fruits after week 2, and I ate tiny amounts of them. I got my Protein in first and that very little room for anything else. Measure your fruit. The best way is to weigh it. 100 grams ( a little over 3 oz.) has 46 calories. Only exercise I got at a month out was walking. I wasn't cleared for the gym till after week 6. Stay on your eating plan and the stall will go away.

I was allowed fruit after 4 weeks. However, it was basically said to limit it to Breakfast time and only after I had gotten my Protein in.

We can only guess, but I'm thinking that the cantaloupe was probably not the reason for the 2lb gain. Our bodies have a lot going on with Fluid balances and such. 2lbs I wouldn't worry about so much. If you start gaining more than that, I'd recommend speaking to your NUT/NP/etc.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
