stomach bruising after workout?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone experienced bruising on their stomachs after work outs? I just started at the gym after many years away... I started running on the treadmill and I've been sore all over but today I noticed bruising on my flab.... (I'm pre op) I think my body is going into shock lol Anyone experience this? Should I call my surgeon or my primary??

How bad is the bruising? You may have just slightly hit it or something and it bruised a little. This happened to me like 6 months ago where I had this HUGE bruise on my stomach when I woke up one morning (no idea what happened) and gave myself a slight hematoma. My Dr said the more fatty tissue you have, the more your are prone to bruising it or causing a slight hematoma even with the slightest bump or hit or whatever. Im sure you will be fine. If it gets bigger or worse then id contact your primary.

I get bruises from dumbbells when I'm getting in to position for dumbbell presses, and from my belt during deadlifts, never anything from just running though.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
