You mean literally a nightmare? I have had dreams and nightmares too. I think since it's so much on our minds we dream about it.

Hello August Sleevers- I am new. I have my surgery scheduled with Dr Lopez in Tijuana on August 23rd. My sister is meeting me in San Diego to go with me. I start the pre-op diet on Thursday. This weekend has been all about having my favorite last meals, and a couple of margaritas to wash them down. I too am feeliong a bit like "what the heck am I even considering doing to myself?", but the airfare is paid and so is my deposit.

My reason for having surgery is my health; loosing weight is just a wonderful side effect. I want to be around for my future grandkids, and if I don't do this, I feel like i may not be.

any one in the same boat?

Ok, so my new favorite pre-op shake is:

chocolate Unjury (1 scoop)

1 cup of 1% Milk

4 Ice Cubes

1/2 a frozen banana

2 tbsp of PB2 (powered Peanut Butter - only 45 calories, 2 grams of fat and 5 grams of protein!)

Combine in blender or Nutribullet (I have the bullet)

Enjoy!

Hope I can do this post-op at some point - maybe not right away but perhaps when I can have pureed food.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
