You must walk, on my first day of surgery the nurses came in and woke us up every two hours to make us walk regardless what god awful time it was even in the middle of the night. push yourself to walk. Awe I feel bad for you it must hurt . I didnt have it bad at all but im limping around like a 90 year old I wound up with a blood clot in my leg so we all get something. I hope you feel better soon.

If you can get your hands on a heating pad or hot water bottle, and put it on your upper back.....it will help tons. Sorry your hurting so badly.

I hate to say it but the only thing to work is walk walk walk. I would have someone pat me hard on the back (like burping a baby) I felt it helped. Also look into gas x strips. I did not use them but others swear of them.

Just walk. I was told gas x strips have no effect because it is a different kind of gas. I know it hurts but it goes away eventually. Mine was gone by day 4-5.

It will be a million times better by tomorrow babe. Ask for some meds, keep up the walking, get some rest. Praying for you.

Walking does help and by day 3-4 much better but walk as much as you can tolerate to prevent clots and helps prevent gas wishing you all the best

LOL!!! It's pain in ur stomach, chest or even ur shoulder. The gas comes from the dr so he can see your insides a lot better but just walk around an get a HEATING PAD it will go away but no not that kinda gas that's make u fart or even burp lol....

LMBO! I forgot the doctor fills you up with air to make more room and be able to maneuver. I'm crying over here, I'm laughing so hard. I thought you were about to launch into space or something. I hope you feel better soon, I'm so sorry for the stupid question.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
