All the amazing food out there and you want Ramen Noodles?? Really? Are you a college student by chance? ha!

I don't think they'd be allowed until you are well into your full food stage. But remember, they are completely carbs, and there's no Protein to them. You really need to concentrate on Protein first. Don't fill your new tummy with things like that that are void of real nutrition.

(Though I'm sure one or two bites won't hurt if you are in the full food stage already and are seriously jonesing for them.) ;)

I personally would not recommend ramen noodle, but once you are cleared for the full diet stage (around 8 weeks post-op) you should be able to test it out. But keep in mind it does not carry much nutritional value.

I know why roman noodle. My kids where having some and it looked sooooo good lol. I had spoon full of just the juice. That was more then enough. Not on full food until the 29th of this month. I'm scared but excited haha don't know what I want yet. Scared of even the purée stage because scared of messing anything up :(

Hi! The sodium content in a pack or ramen noodles is ridiculous!! Almost 1000mg per serving. I understand your cravings but please be mindful of everything you've gone through this far. Get that Protein in!! If you're looking for the flavor, add some Kosher chicken broth to mashed potatoes or brown rice(if you're able to eat those things) or boil some chicken in the chicken broth that might help.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
