I hated my chewables, I switched to liquid and the sleeve loves them. Wellesse makes a great line of products, their Calcium tastes like an orange creamcicle. Ingot that from Walmart.< /p>

I didn't have to much of an issue the other times I took them. I take optisource it's a multi for bariatric people and has everything you need but you take it 3 times a day and I dont really care for the texture. I may try the liquid later. Is the one you take for bariatric patients? Are you taking it several times throughout the day and do you have to take other Vitamins or just the one?

I take a liquid multivitamin and a liquid Calcium. I take the multivitamin twice a day and the calcium three times a day (500 mg each serving). That will be the same the rest of my life. No Iron yet.

I take nutrametrix powder multivitamin and Calcium that dissolves in Water. It is an isotonic multivitamin that is a highly absorbable form, and recommended by my NUT. Both can be mixed together, and taken only once a day, minimizing cals and carbs. The taste is a sour citrus drink - which I prefer to the too sweet. Must follow directions regarding amount of water for the mixture to be isotonic. I recommend that you use very cold water for best taste.

I just caught up onall posts and am so sorry to hear several of you are having such troubles with pain and pain meds. I hope it is resolving by now.

CFBarre, I am so sorry to hear about your ordeal! I hope you are home and on the road to recovery now.

I'm surprised to hear about the differences in post-op diets...I have a very specific one to follow. The first week was all liquid, then 4 weeks of purees. No crackers or anything like that. I've been doing fine with fluids and Protein. Luckily Water still tastes good to me. I've been having 3 carnation shakes a day with added Protein Powder and half a bottle of Isopure to hitmy 75 g. of protein.

I felt like crap earlier this week....dizzy and exhausted. My primary doc took me off my blood pressure meds already!! Woo, woo!

I hadn't heard of that one. I will look into it. I like what I am using which is all liquid except for some Gummy calcium at work. The brand is Wellesse and I take 3 tbs. in he morning and 2 tbs. at night so it's really simple. My only concern will be traveling with them. The bottles are kind of bulky. So the nutrametrix might be a good solution for me. I tried he chalky chewables and they made me lurch even on pr-op. I have always had a sensitive stomach to Vitamins. :( but it is nice that there are other solutions out there. Thanks for the info.

I am surprised by the amount of vitamins! I am only required to take a multi once a day and a Vitamin D. I am now home and doing well! Amazed at how well I am doing.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one only needing to take a multi vitamin only (no D for me). I thought I hadn't listened or read my stuff from the doc. I only take my Flinstones vitamin and that's it.

Really? I was told I have to take a multivitamin, Calcium with d3, Iron and B12 everyday for the rest of my life. I would say at minimal to look into the B12 if you feel tired, it gives me alot of energy and is easy to take.

They have Vitamins for bariatric people and it has all of these in them, maybe you could look into them. I take optisource and I get it at Walgreens.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
